Welcome back to my world! So, thought I would update you on
a few things if you haven’t been following me these last couple of years. At
least what is happening in Thailand!!
My wife Pray and I are slowly building the resort in the
northeastern part of Thailand west of Khonkaen City. Its an oasis surrounded by
farm lands, a canal and river. Back in late 2016 we had a large pond dug on the
property and the idea of a resort home came to mind. In the winter of 2017 we
began the build.
We at first used
family members for the start of construction and found that is not a good idea.

Check out my YouTube Channel to see what I mean!!! A Hart in Thai Most of the videos are when we are in Thailand but during the summer we are back in Canada enjoying the weather here rather than the rainy season in Thailand.
The series of photos is from the start of the build to when we left last May. Been good progress even with many months of no activity. Before we left in May of 2018 I had 200 loads of fill hauled in and spread out to expand the land for future buildings.
As I write this they are completing the soffits all around
and painting.

Of course been half way around the world and the lack of communication we try to explain what we want with photos and chatting online. As an example I asked that the outdoor kitchen be like a Canadian Log Cabin Style as per this stock photo.....

This is the resort as of now with the bar and restaurant. I hope to post more photos as I get them from family.
